How Can I Make My Roomate Stop Snoring?
Posted by: Alan in Stop Snoring Remedies, tags: Make, Roomate, Snoring, StopSuffocate them with a pillow……or just encourage them to sleep on their stomach, if that doesnt work there is an operation that can be done on the sinuses to stop it from happening……………and dont forget suffocation is always an option.

If you got the cash, give it to your roomie!
Bring him to see a otolaryngologist, or simply a doctor to check sleeping patterns, examination of the nose, mouth, throat, palate, and neck, etc.
Otherwise, scare him/her.
Socially, it makes the snorer an object of ridicule and causes other sleepless nights and resentfulness. Medically, it disturbs sleeping patterns and deprives the snorer of appropriate rest. When snoring is evere, it can cause serious, long-term healthy problems, including obstructive sleep apnea.
If you can’t be bothered to be so generous. Spend about $10 on some ear muffs or ear plugs, whichever works. Finally, the FREE method. Throw that room mate out into the sofa. Just kidding.
TIP I READ ON A SITE-
Adults who suffer from MILD or OCCASIONAL snoring should try the following self-help remedies:
* Adopt a healthy and athletic lifestyle to develop good muscle tone and lose weight.
* Avoid tranquilizers, sleeping pills, and antihistamines before bedtime.
* Avoid alcohol for at least four hours and heavy meals or snacks for three hours before retiring.
* Establish regular sleeping patterns
* Sleep on your side rather than your back.
* Tilt the head of your bed upwards four inches.
Bless you have a good sleep soon!

I think your roomate would have to seek medical help with his snoring to check if there is something he could do to remedy the situation.
Meanwhile – you can buy earplugs.

Tape record it, then play it back while he’s sleeping louder than his real self. When he wakes up, stop the tape without him seeing you. When he goes back to sleep, start playback again. Keep doing this while incrementing the volume until he cracks.

I am married to someone that snores, and there is nothing you can do. We’ve tried that spray for his throat, the strips for his nose, rolling him over, etc. Within minutes he just rolls right back and starts over again. I usually sleep downstairs and he sleeps upstairs. The only other thing we have not tried is to have him checked out for sleep apnea. That is known to cause bad snoring, and can be cured.
Good luck
