I have has 2 sinus surgeries and still snore like Fred Flintstone. If overweight, lose some - I have and plan on losing more. It has helped a little. If not, ask the doctor what can be done.

try those nasal strips, maybe that would help...try elevating his head and keep him on his side. my husband snored a lot but, the nasal strips really did the trick.

I believe changing his sleeping position may help reduce the frequency of snoring. For instance, if he normally sleeps on his back, maybe he can try sleeping on his side instead. Couldn't hurt.

My mother broke her nose in a car accident when she was a teen ager, since then she can crack the paint off the walls with her snoring...
My suggestion is those little snore strip things that basically force the nasal cavity open a bit... you can get them at WAL-MART.
If that doesn't work, I think your only recourse is surgery... youd have to talk to your DR.
You may just have to get used to it unfortunatly...
You could also try nudging him and making him sleep on his side or stomach when he starts to snore, sometimes a change of position can stop them.
Most people snore while on their back.
I only snore when I am passed out drunk or I physically PASS OUT from exaustion, but even then I am not very loud.
