My wife solved it by divorcing me. But now I use Breathe Right strips. I assume they work. I sleep alone and I never woke myself up or had to smack myself in the head. I did nudge myself once.

Punch whoever it is in the side of the head and then hurry and pretend like your sleeping, it gets them every time…

Short of placing a plastic bag over their heads there are several cures available now from minor surgery to various devices. The snorer usually has to be checked out a doctor first because some forms of snoring can actually be dangerous.

Please do yourself a favor and get some good ear plugs you can use while sleeping!
My husband snores, and there is no way to stop it. I bought some ear plugs, and now I don´t hear him at night-thank God!
I get the best nights sleep-I used to go sleep in our extra room-because I don´t hear him, and can cuddle up next to him.

They have a spray and mouth wash (I think is called Oasis) that helps, also those nose strips……a visit to the doctor would be helpful overall, because it could be sinuses or a breathing disorder. If they drink, well it could be that.

From experience the only way is to keep nudging them until it annoys them so much that they go to the spare room (mine is on the other side of the house) and then you get the whole bed to yourself. Sometimes it takes a while though.

Have them consult a physician. They may have obstructive sleep apnea in which their airways collapses while they “try” to sleep leading to snoring. Watch their pattern of sleeping ====do they at times stop breathing for a few moments or shallow breath. This could indicate OAS. People can feel tire and sleepy during the DAY causing accidents or develop life threaten heart rhythm during sleep or be found DEAD in bed. EASILY diagnosed in a sleep lab and treated with CPAP NASAL MASK to keep the airways open. If you love them call a doctor.. Other things can cause snoring BUT this can be deadly

Get the person to make a medical consultation, as this is usually someone who is not fit, or on the way to sleep apnea
