  1. Dr. Ernest J Folk says:

snoring and dreaming are two separate things. Dreaming is caused by rapid eye movement. And snoring is caused by the back end your tongue muscle vibrating against the back of your mouth.
It is not true that if you are snoring you cannot be dreaming.

  2. Christie Brucks says:

i don’t think it is. doesn’t snoring mean you are in a deep sleep?

  3. imjajaja says:

I don’t see why this would be true… whether or not you’re snoring has nothing to do with what part of your sleep cycle you’re in. However, people with sleep apnea (which can cause snoring) tend to not get the deep sleep that most people get, so they might not enter the deep stages of their sleep cycle, which is when dreams occur. But, correllation does not mean causation… snoring couldn’t cause a person not to dream.

  4. Nicky says:

    Rubbish. It is not logical.

  5. Torque says:

No it’s definately not true. Snoring isn’t affected by your brain – its the taking in of air which makes the sound and the brain controls dreaming…

  6. Baloneyu says:

I doubt that is true. My hubby is a champion snorer. Sometimes when I nudge him to turn over, he talks in his sleep about whatever he is dreaming about.
