My Dog Snores All The Time, And I Can’t Sleep. What Do I Do To Make Her Stop Snoring?

but when sprawled out they snore like crazy. So, during the summer, when it’s hot — they snore. During the winter, they don’t.

I have a pug and she snores. Maybe I’m crazy but I love her so much that I don’t mind her snoring. She sleeps in my room and her snoring tells me she is asleep and OK. I knew this about pugs before I bought her, so maybe that’s why I don’t mind. Did you do any research on your breed beffore buying or adopting her? Maybe that would have helped.

Oh boy… I know what your going through.. My 13 week old lab/mix snores like there is no tomorrow!!!!!! Try putting her in another room. Dont wake her! Dogs need there sleep. Try putting her in the next room for awhile. Is she in a crate? Or just on the bed?

With my experience in vet. offices I would have to say my best opinion would be to chest the dog’s cardiac and tracheal passages to make sure nothing is clogging the air ways or heart valves.

this is what i do, and it works well. i let her do it for a few minutes then i pretend like i am sneezing or i shake my bed it scares her and makes her stop. give it a try but im not gaurenteing anything.

Maybe feed your dog in the morning instead of at night. I find that my dog snores on a full tummy.
It that doesn’t stop it take your dog to the vet to see if their is something cloging it’s nasal passage.

You could spray her with a water bottle to wake her up.
You could wear earplugs to bed. If you put the squishy ones in correctly, you hardly feel them.
Or you could just move her bed or kennel to another location.

that is normal. short of taking your dog to a vet to see if they can do anything you’ll just have to deal with it.
