She knows she snores and once she is asleep she is impossible to wake up.. i’ve tried shaking her, yelling her name, even hitting her with a pillow :) I don’t want to be rude about it, but I end up sleeping on the couch almost every night!! How can I solve this problem without offending her!?

Just say to her ‘You could buy things to help you stop snoring. Like those things over your nose at night.’ but try say it in a joking way.
If she still carries on then tell her that you cant sleep at night and that its not fair on you.
And still if she carries on maybe tell a teacher about it. Im sure he/she will understand.
Sometimes you need to tell her the truth and straight. That its not fair .
If not as a joke buy her some stuff to stop her snoring. Show her how it feels.

    Have you considered earplugs?
If either of you is responsive to alarm clocks or wakes up without needed alarms, this could be a viable option to try.
Using a humidifier might help with the snoring, but that and other options might be ripe for discussion with your roommate.
If your roommate has worked through similar concerns in the past, you might find tried-and-tested suggestions from the roommate’s side of things. Have a conversation

Nasal Strips didn’t work for me – nost snoring actually comes from the throat – and not from the nasal passages.
There is a product that you can order online called Slumber Guard – it is specifically designed to treat snoring. It’s a registerd medical device an is sold in pharamcies across Australia.
    It worked for me.
