Our bedroom shares a wall with the adjacent apartment. Recently, a new neighbor has moved in. Every night we can hear the husband (presumed) snoring loudly. It doesn’t matter where we move our bed, the noise is still there. It is as though there is a third person in our room.
How would you deal with this?

I think I would mention it to him in a friendly way. Maybe he would move his bed to an inside wall on the other side of his room, so his neighbors won’t hear him.
You could also run a fan or play soft music.
Talk to the landlord…. not that it’s illegal for the guy to snore…. LOL…. but there may be another apartment you could move into.

Have you told them there is a problem?
    What was their response?
If they were nasty, I would turn the stereo on loud every time he gets to ripping like that. Once he is awake, turn it off.
When he asks WTF, repeat that his snoring is keeping you awake.
You could try sound proofing the room, hanging a tapestry or such to cover the common wall may help.

Sleep apnea is a serious problem, which he probably has. It might be good to ask him to join a gym with his wife. It happens less in people who are not overweight. It also makes me wonder what she’s doing, how she can actually sleep with that noise. It may be easier to approach her about him than him by asking her if she slept well.
Maybe also find some kind of white noise that will also block the sound. Some people like to use fans or buy albums especially made for this purpose.

I’ve had this problem many times. If you have two bedrooms, perhaps change rooms. Nothing can change this problem.

Am sure it is horribly annoying. Go shopping for some electronic ware with ‘white noise’ and use ear plugs. If it still bugs you, exchange your bedroom with another room in the apartment.

Buy ear plugs and bang on the wall…
