people snores due to the tounge blocking the airway…it says that you have to position the person who is snoring to one side to promote airway clearance…
sometimes people who snores are prone to heart diseases..to make sure, take him for some check ups…

ooo i just learned about this at school people usually snore because they have a disorder called Sleep Apnea (you can tell if the snoring isn’t continuous like if he stops then suddenly snores then stops again) this causes their tong to fall back when they sleep on their back and block their air passage. so every time he snores his body is waking him up to remind him to breath. the cure is if he can try to get used to sleeping on his side and if that doesn’t work you can go to the doctor and they give you a breathing machine i don’t remember what it’s called but it will keep him from snoring all night.
ok hope that helps and you can sleep well soon.

He probably needs tonsillectomy. I had one this summer because of snoring. It’s relatively painless and you recover in about a week, with no snoring. Alternately, you can try anti-snoring strips which you put on your nose at night. They have mixed results, but the general consensus is that they do not work.

Not really- no. It depends on what is making him snore, really. If it’s because of a sinus problem, then fixing that helps. But if it’s just the old chain saw type, aside from trying to reposition him, not much you can do except wear earplugs or sleep in another room. My chainsaw- I mean husband- also snores something awful. We’ve tried it all- the nose strips, the special pillows, you name it- and I’m still stuck with earplugs and the couch when it really gets bad. My sympathies to you, and if you find a cure, publicize it please.

you could pinch his upper/ lower part of his nose (i forgot)..
i tried it with my brother and it worked, but it’s just reducing the sound though..plus it’s tiring and temporary
