Sounds like your partner has sleep apnea, if so, your partner needs to see a doctor.

He may have a devated septom where one nostral is smaller than the other causing him to breath wrong. I have it and i am going to get the surgery soon. I dont think i snore loud allot but i do snore. It is dificult for me to breath out my nose most of the time. If you dont want to do yhat just make sure he does not sleep on his back that may have a temp solution.

my husband snores like a bear. he uses the breathe right strips and the breathe right spray. it relaxes the throat muscles to help reduce the snoring. it works for him.

Kick the crap out of him. No just kidding. My hubby uses breathe right strips. Thank god they help or I would be in jail for murder. LOL

THis depends on the location of the snore. If it is a Nasal snore, try some of those breathe right nasal strips.

If the snore originates from the trachea, this may be an indication of other problems. If your partner has daytime sleepiness or gasping for breath at night, have them take a little test at:

If the test shows a possible sleep disorder, see your doctor and ask for a sleep study to be performed, or even just an oximetry screening to be done at night.
