See a medical sleep specialist . . .it might be related to sleep apnea . .

My boyfriend is also a horrible snorer, and he went and got this awful surgery done that was supposed to help….but it didn’t. There’s some kind of throat spray that’s supposed to help, but we haven’t tried it yet.

no advice, but you’re in good company. lots of people snore, and it only gets worse as you get older! i was once asked to move to a different hotel room because the people in the next room complained about my snoring!

believe it or not sometimes snoring is a health problem…
1. are u over wt? that causes people to snore more
2. are you just snoring or do you stop breathing too.
3. you really do need to talk to your dr about it
i also am a snorer and loud too and i am a woman i went to a dr and found out that i do need surgery because the hole;s that go to the back of your throat close off when i sleep and that causes me to snore but like you i decided not to do the surgery….also one more thing if you drink alot of alcohol it will make y ou snore more also…

i had a serious snoring problem when i was younger. I had my adnoids taken out and was told to sleep with my head elevated (on two pillow at least, or one pillow bent in half) it did the trick.
now i sleep on a curved memory foam pillow and that seems to work as well.
good luck! see a doctor!

I have the same problem, and it is common. Do not eat fatty foods 3 hours before going to bed.
Do not consume alcohol 3 hours before bed.
Stay active during the evening, not just in a chair.
Get some exercise.
Lose weight if you need to.
This has helped me. I do not snore as much as I used to.

You should not be embarrassed to ask any question.. Its up to others weather they want to respond or not..
On your snoring problem, if it is bad enough that it wakes up your partner then you might want to consult a specialist. I d first go to my physician then if he can’t solve the problem then be referred to specialist.. good luck and sweet dreams!

Try using 2 or 3 pillows, that should help, and put a 2×4 under the head of your bed. If you stop breathing during that time it may be sleep-apnea
