Our boxers drool and snore… not too bad though! They both are messy eaters but are easily trained to go potty and what their schedule is. They LOVE schedules (when to get up, when its time to go outside, when you are coming home from work, etc).
Both boxers and labs will need a LOT of exercise. So, be prepared to give them the exercise they require. If they do not get enough exercise, they start to get into mischief or trouble (out of boredom or excess energy they need to dispell somehow).
Boxers are family dogs — they love children and they also want to be around you — their family — so having them outdoors is not good for them. They want to lay at your feet. They want to cuddle on your lap.
They also are not barkers. They are not noisy dogs at all unless someone comes to the door or walks by. Then they just give a few short barks, letting us know that someone may be approaching their territory.

Boxers are great dogs! I have found that they are rather easy to train. The secret is finding the right motivator (aka food or toy). Clicker training works well also. Always train dogs apart in the beginning. I have boxer that drools when his motivator(treats) are present and he is gassy. I also have a female that doesn’t drool yet and loves agility training! Always train after some good exercise! Boxers can be messy eaters, but over all great dogs! Some snore some don’t…..
The main point is they are very people orientated dogs and with proper training can do anything!

i have 2 boxers right now, and they do not drool.
    but they do snore.
it’s not too noticeable unless you are listening for it.
    but training them…..
we started off with one boxer, she was just fine, and listened all the time.
until we got a male boxer/bulldog.
now that they are together neither of them will listen.
we havent had any success with them yet.
    they are only becoming worse.
    but we are still trying.
    we wont give up.
also, boxer’s dont really have common sense i have figured out.
    lol
they are good guard dogs when they have to be.
they know who needs to be protected.

They are very easy to train, not real guard dogs but they have a huge bark, but when they really need to protect you they will.
Most dont drool at all I have had a total of about 30 Boxers out of my life not one drooled.
But they do snore and they ARE REALLY GASSY dogs!
