Question by Trix_R_not_4_kids: What should I do about my bad snoring?
I have really bad snoring and I don’t know what to do. Sometimes when I wake up, I feel bad because I can tell my husband didn’t get enough sleep the night before because of it. A few nights ago, it was so loud that it actually woke me up. It sounds funny, but I can’t believe it’s SOOO loud. What should I do?

Breathe right strips and other otc snore aids. If you are overweight check and make sure you dont have sleep apnea. You may need to sleep with CPAP. Do you wake up at night frequently? Tired often? Overweight? Get checked for sleep apnea.

try some snore sprays, and the breath right nasal strips.

Also if you consume alchohol, try limiting the amount, if you are overweight, getting in shape and loosing weight will help as well.

You could also try proping yourself up on a pillow when you sleep too.

I have the same problem, my wife sleeps with earplugs sometimes when I am realy bad snoring.

    Good luck

You need to see your doctor. Snoring can be the indication of certain health issues. When one snores, the sound which is so annoying to others, means the passage way is being blocked causing a lack of oxygen. This is most snorers wake up less then rested. Your doctor may recommend a sleep study to help determine the cause. In the mean time sleep slightly elevated to assist in keeping the “passage way” open.
