It could be a badger. Badger’s dig very intricate burrows that can be surprising for a somewhat small animal. However, this animal can be extremely dangerous and they are very territorial. Perhaps the den had collapsed? In that case, it could be a collasped fox den and another animal killed everything in it to take the den over. Otherwise, it could possibly be bigfoot! :3

Probably a ground hog. They are very smart mammals. Also, we have one around our barn in the back and the holes is exactly like you are talking about…huge.

That’s weird because I saw a documentary on bigfoot and they said a lot of sightings are by blue berry bushes so they guessed that’s one of their main foods. I’m not even joking, I would investigate, sounds like fun. To be more realistic It could be a bear though, so be careful!
