I agree, my basset listens when she WANTS to. But if she doesn’t want to there is no getting her to ^^

@MrMichaelj1982 I am really sorry for the loss of Lucy. I only said a little lazy because under the right circumstances some can be nuts. My boy Toby turns into the energizer bunny when you show him a ball.

@Geno2733 It’s especially bad if it’s raining out! Almost EVERY basset, basset mix and beagle that I know (including my two boys) HATE getting their paws wet unless it’s in a bath or the snow.

@melancholymistress89 yeah. Bassets are in the same family as beagles and they’re stubborn too. lol. Especially when you try to keep them in line on the leash.. they like to go limp and just lay there.
