I was given Boxer that was about 6 mos old. He’s now around 8-9 mos old and I’m having difficulty in obedience training. He was a stray that was handed down to me by 2 diff ppl. I already knew that Boxers can be stubburn and hard to train, but I’m a dedicated pet owner and am determined to break him of bad habits and turn him into an obedient companion.
“Rocky” stays out in the backyard until we come home from work. He’ll lay on the ground until ur within reach and then he springs up and jumps on u. He knows the basics, etc: “no”, “sit” (as well as the hand signal for sit), “stay”, “toy” and “drop-it”.
I want him to be protective of our house b/c our neighbor has had a break-in and we’ve had a car stolen.
Rocky snores so loud that one time when we came home he didn’t even hear us and I was the one who scared him instead of the other way around. He doesn’t bark unless he’s trying to play w/one of our cats, even when someone knocks at the door, he stays quite and just looks up and walks to the front. I wish he would be a little more aggressive/territorial….How do I go about instilling a guarding behavior in him?

What Kind Of Animal Could Do This?Posted by: Alan in Snore Guard, tags: Animal, Could, Kind, This, WhatOk. First of all my rabbits disapeared without a trace out of their cage. We have no neighbors. we are out in the woods.I was recently down by the lake behind my house. There is a trail you can walk down, that leads out to a little dock, and an old treehouse and behind that there is these creepy little patches of woods and it’s always mostly dark even in daytime.

Oh Yeah, you Wanted More, here Is # 6?Posted by: Alan in Snore Guard, tags: Morehere, Wanted, YeahyouYou decide to slip in the window, hopefully quietly. You swing in and happen to tap the guard on the knee and notice you stop his snoring.Even though the lights are on,you notice he goes back to sleep as you cover your heavy breathing. You notice cameras pointed at everything from the exit to the concrete pit you were left to die in on the monitors you missed from outside…maybe just slipping to your death made you overlook them.On the screen that shows both of you,you notice both his keyring and the fact you are locked in that room, good thing he’s the only one who can see this, huh?.There is an electronic keypad by the door out,and an obvious alarm system. It still has a key to work both sides and a door to the restroom in this room. This high up,don’t look for a window in the restroom.Oh yeah, the cameras also show what looks like rabid (?) dobermans guarding the ground floor door. Now what?

Question About Adenoids And Tonsils?Posted by: Alan in Snore Guard, tags: About, Adenoids, Question, TonsilsMy hubbys is 35 and im 24 for the last 5 and a bit yrs I have been wearing earplugs everynight cause of my hubbys really bad snoring problem. We have a 2 1/2yr old and I am so frightend that I cant hear her so I have a really good monitor in her room and turn my part up really loud just to hear her. I now have a 1 month old and I am now sleeping in her room till he does something about his snoring. He has been to many sleep clinics and they say he has sleep apnoea and he needs to where a mouth guard but I think they were wrong because he cant breath through his mouth so what would be the point of that. Anyway my friend had the same problem and she had her Adenoide and tonsils removed and now doesnt snore. Q is how much does it cost and how can we go about getting it done for him. Cause I dont want our relationship to fall apart cause of it, I mean 5yrs is enough for me I cant tell you how many times I had infected ears cause it. |
