Stop Snoring Remedies

I have been mouth breathing for over 7 years now because of allergies. It has gotten so bad that my lips are swollen like 50% or more there size and my gums are swollen as well. Nothing works all lips balms just make my lips worse! So i dicied to buy the somni snore guard which is supose to not let my mouth open during sleep. Has anyone tryed this or somhing like this?
