Question by Pomlover: eehhh, okay so I am not sure what to do about this problem?
I have an issue. My fiance and I like cannot sleep together. Like literally. I have stayed at his place a few times in the past and he has told me he didn’t get 1 bit of sleep because I snore. I didn’t even know that i did snore. He is a really light sleeper and I guess I sleep so deep that I have no awareness of my snoring, anyone else have this problem?? What did you do or are going to do.

By the way just because i know someone will suggest this, I have tried like every over the counter snoring aid out there “Breatheright, SnoreAlert, you name it….”

I have enlarged tonsils and i am pretty sure they are causing my snoring…my fear is I will have to have them removed. Is this the only way to stop my snoring? Are there any medications my doctor can prescribe to rid the snoring??
read the entire question, tried them

Question by mimi: How about surgery for snoring people?
Are effective? How it works?

Answer by cluckincom
My wife wakes the neighbours up her snoring is so loud- done everything we could and looked into surgery- but its not a very nice operation, involves cutting a flap of skin in the upper back of the mouth- it works very well apparently though.

I didnt want my wife to undergo that just for me

Question by Amy >’.’< : Question about snoring solutions. I saw a video with a procedure in which the Dr. basically took a needle?
and used it to insert a very small and thin piece of steel or metal (about an inch long maybe, sort of like a needle) into the soft palate of the mouth. It stabilizes the soft palate or stiffens it just a bit to eliminate the vibration that causes snoring.

Can’t remember the name of the procedure. Anyone know what I’m talking about? I want to look into it more but don’t know how to find the info again.
