Question by Varaiar: Does anyone have allergies where the symptoms are worst in the morning, and how do you handle them?
I have spring and summer allergies and they are in full force. I wake up and my nose is stuffed, my ears are plugged, my eyes are puffy and my mouth is dry from snoring all night. It takes a few hours for my head to drain and with an allergy pill I’m usually o.k. for the day but it just seems to build back up during the night. What are some pill usages or types of allergy meds or other remedies that can make my mornings not suck?

Try Zyrtec.. it helps. and doing a nose-spray treatment, you could try gargling before you go to bed and after you wake up, using breath-right strips at night, and propping your head up more. also you might what to dust and vacuum every day..if it gets worse, your doctor can hook you up with good allergy inhibitors. :) good luck.

I never used to mind his snoring, its not even that loud. But I am 33 weeks pregnant and I cant seem to fall asleep if he starts snoring before im asleep. Its driving me nuts because i end up staying awake until 1am. Any ideas? I have tried ear plugs and he has tried the breath right strips.

Sharp elbows. They’re my lifesaver when my husband snores.

Question by Laurie29: Does anyone know of any good snoring cures?
My husband has a horrible snoring problem. It is to the point where I don’t sleep so have to go in a different room at night. I don’t want to have to do this but have our two small children to care for during the day so I have to get some rest. I believe it affects his quality of sleep too as he seems restless during the night. Is there anything out there that has worked for any of you? He has mentioned surgery but I am hoping it doesn’t have to go that far. Please help!

Question by eml: Did anyone else start snoring late in pregnancy?
My fiance has had to sleep on the sofa a couple of nights because my snoring has gotten so bad in the last week. I’m 39 weeks as of Friday. He says that he tries to nudge me, but it just keeps going. I have even woken myself up a couple of times. I usually don’t snore. He said that even though he grew up with three brothers and lived with male roommates in college, he has never heard snoring like this – it is rather embarrassing. Has anyone else experienced this?
