Question by Terrible Treasure: Dreaming will be the death of me.?
Ever since I can remember, I’ve remembered my dreams. I am aware I’m dreaming, while I dream, I guess thats called lucid dreaming. Sometimes I can decide what happens in my dreams. Now the problem is that I wake up exhuasted. The only time I sleep well is when I can’t remember my dreams. I came to the, very unprofessional, conclusion, that my mind is too focused on my dreams, and it doesn’t rest. Is there anyway, I can practice not remembering my dreams? Kind of like an anti-dream-diary. I know it sounds rediculous, but I’d just like to sleep. I’d like to stop dreaming the things I dream. I often have night mares. I’m a healthy 19 year old female. I’m probably 10lbs overweight, and I don’t snore, so I doubt its sleep apnea, but you never know. If you need any other details, let me know. Thanks.
I’m not on any drugs, I’d like it to stay that way. I don’t have caffine, and I eat as healthy as I can. I’ve changed my diet, to see if the dreaming changes, but it seems to have no effect.
I go to college, and I’m a writer, by passion, not profession. Most of my ideas come from my dreams, infact. Also, I run 8 miles a week.

Question by kathrynhhboyle: Can snoring be a symptom for a cat and can it cause death?
Tabby is a female cat and is 11years old.My cat was overweight about 6 months ago. She was put on perscription diet food by the vet. She lost weight and was back to a healthy weight. She always had some kind of snoring problem or congestion in her nose. Recently, she passed away. Luckily I wasn’t there to see what happened. My brother saw it and said she might have had a heart attack and died instantly. Is there some kind of diagnosis or treatment that I could have prevented?…. I just cant get over it.

My cat snores all the time. Sometimes it’s worse than others. It seems to have really been noticeable the last 5 years or so (he’s 13), but it doesn’t affect him at all.

Sure, it’s possible that it was a nasal tumor or asthma or something like that, but if there weren’t really any other symptoms, then it was probably nothing. It could have been because of winter (drier air), a new fabric softener, or the factory 100 miles upwind of you needed to change it’s filters. It’s even possible that his nasal cavities were dried out with the food change.

I’m very sorry for your loss, but there was probably nothing further that you could have done.
