ok i need your help, my girlfriend has had mono for 3 or 2 weeks now and her tonsils are huge. like golf balls. kinda looks like a kobras neck if you know what i mean. it really hurts her she snores bad and i think she stops breathing sometimes. her doctor has given her two types of anti bionics but they did nothing. is this normal there huge red and pussie and hurts her alot. is this normal for mono

If you’re really worried about it, you should take her to the doctor and tell them that the antibiotics are not working and you’re worried and see what they say. The doctor knows best and will be able to help you guys out

The wrost part is thats its been happening for like 6 months… i have been fighting , tried mental meds, tried anti androgen and birth control…nothing makes a difference or helps…I was happy to finally get to see an endocrinologist and get some hope to reverse and recover..but he just said he thinks my adrenals are producing toom much DHEA or DHT im not sure which one.. and testosterone…he said both levels were high…i have had cat scan of pelvis, and ultrasound of ovaries..and MRI of adrenals..all came back “normal” and they say my thyroid levels are “normal”…but im suffering greatly…my endo is a joke, and can hardly understand english and rolled his eyes at me..and just gave me bc and upped the anti androgen and said see you in 2 months…terrible…by then i will be dead…I am not sure what to do at this point…any suggestions would be great. thanks

He tried that mouth piece they advertise on TV and it didn’t work. I NEED some SLEEP! When I was working full-time I was a sorry sort. Exhausted all the time. . . I can not get a job because I am so tired all the time. I have tried ear plugs but I can still hear him. I need my own room I guess but we can not afford to sell and buy a bigger house, nor put on an addition. Has anyone had success with other ideas to stop snoring? Thanx!

roll his ass out of bed! i would make him sleep in another room, why do you have to move? its his doing. make him leave the room.

My husband snores awfully loud. To the point where I can’t get a good nights rest, and am seriously considering sleeping in our extra bedroom. Does anyone know anything that works well to make it stop?? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Question by lovelyladee: Please help me decide if I should put my cat to sleep.?
My cat is pretty old. I’ve had her for 23 years now but she got really sick, really fast. Here’s a list of her problems:

*Severe Kidney Disease
*Hyperthyroidism which causes her to eat/drink constantly but still lose weight. She only weighs 4.5 pounds now. I can feel her bones.
*There’s something pushing her eye out of socket. The vet believes this to be a tumor
*Urinary tract infection
*Abcess tooth/rotten teeth
*She tries not to put too much weight on her back right leg but she can still walk and jump
*When she breathes, she sounds like she’s snoring
*She is losing her hearing

I love my cat so much and I just cry at the thought of not having her with me anymore but I know I have to do what’s best for her. The vet says that she’s too old for any kind of treatment and that I should just try to keep her happy and comfortable but they didn’t tell me to put her down. What should I do?

If she is in pain, I will put her down. I don’t want her to suffer because I don’t want to let her go. That would be selfish of me and this is about her, not me.

As for quality of life, she sleeps a lot and just wants to eat when she’s not sleeping. She doesn’t play much anymore. She just hangs out and climbs in our laps when she’s ready for snuggles.

I know that no one can tell me what to do. I was hoping to hear what you would do if you were in my position. Thank you so much for your answers.

It is a personal decision…a very HARD personal decision.

I would put her down if she was mine.She’s probably in pain all over.
