I am staying iver at a friends tomorrow and am embarrassed about my heavy snoring due to an operation when i was younger. any home remedies that can help?

I have seen/heard of some tennis ball contraption you can DIY, it’s a little funky looking so don’t know if you would find it more embarrassing than the snoring itself, may as well google it though. you could probably wear a loose shirt and go to the bathroom to put it on discreetly (it is tied around your torso or something).
Honestly though, a friend who judges you for something like that is not a friend worth having. Just my two cents.

Breathing in the steam from a sink full of hot water helps and also sleeping on your side.

and the nasal strips dont work and I havent found a spray that works that well either.

Have you seen a doctor about this? It sounds like you could have sleep apnea. Take a look at this website and see if it sounds like what you are experiencing.
