Question by drfaulk07: How can I get my loud snoring roommate to stop snoring so I can get a good sleep?
My roommate snores like a dinosaur and it has left me with many restless nights, I’ve brought it up with him multiple times but he just doesn’t care. Any tips?

Get those strips that he can wear over his nose at night, breathe right is what I think they are called, you can get them at your local grocery or drug store…good luck, oh tell him to sleep on his side, not on his back, that may help as well..

Question by : Does loud adult snoring affect newborn baby sleeping patterns?
My husband snores loudly during the night while sleeping. It’s so loud that sometimes it even disrupts my sleep. He’s had his adenoids removed and even tried nasal strips to prevent it, but none have been successful. Is his snoring going to negatively affect our coming newborns sleeping, and if so what can we do to resolve the matter?

Best answer:

Answer by very pround army wife & mom.
it will at first its a new sound to him and a loud one, but babies and adults adjust to be able to deal with their surroundings after a few days.

Question by questionfordad: Why does my dad make loud snoring noises sporadically when he is awake?
My dad is diabetic, has high blood pressure, congestive heart failure, and has been hospitalized for two strokes. Lately, when I got to visit him, he breaths heavily- while awake- and then produces a loud snoring sound that cause some of his body to tremble as well. It sounds just like a snore but he is not asleep.

Hey may be a shallow breather. I do this too sometimes because in the past I used to breath shallow and am still paying for it. Occasionally, I will suddenly take a deep breath with a snore coming as an effect of my deep breath.

Maybe he is catching his breath?
