Question by AriaDragonfly: Kitten still sneezing since I adopted her a month ago.?
She’s had treatments and has had all her shots and is spayed. She is eating very well and drinking lots. She is very active and playful. When I first got her she had a cold, it has gotten better and worse in the last 4 weeks. Seems to get a lot better when I give her steam treatments but a couple days later she is sneezing (usually in my face) and will have lots of green snot come out! She also snores once in a while. No runny eyes, and my other two cats show no signs of a cold. Is this maybe just allergies?
What I meant when I said she had treatments was she already had a course of antibiotics….
And yes she was tested for for FIV and doesn’t have it.

I have the same problem. I took her to the vet. She said it could be cat flu or just a general, simple illness. She gave me tablets and my cat is all better now. See your vet, diagnose and get some medication.
Hope he gets better

Question by Kiki: What should I do if I’ve had Tonsillitis for a month now?
I’ve had Tonsillitis for about a month now. I think it started during a flu I had the week of July fourth where I had a high fever of 101.4 degrees, chills, and my body felt as if it were on fire most of the first night. My flu went away after a few days of taking DayQuil and NyQuil, but I still had this sore throat. So, I went to the doctor and he prescribed me Moxatag since he said that I had tonsillitis. I also took two tests for mono and strep, but they came out negative. Then, after going through Moxatag, I went to the doctor again because my tonsils didn’t change and I think the medicine just kept them from getting worse yet they were still the same size. He prescribed me another anti-biotic that has tylenol in it and took another mono test in which they took more blood from me so they could see if I were developing mono. I still haven’t got the test back.
My tonsils are to the point where they are touching my uvula and they don’t have white patches, but I do have hot sweats and chills every now and then with headaches in the mornings and before I go to bed as well as not being able to sleep well at all because I can barely breathe. My voice is a “potato” like and I’m snoring now. I think I may have sleep apnea which it was really bad during the first week of having Tonsillitis. Now, I’m having restless sleep and it’s causing me to be even more tired and feeling ill. I’ve been taking medicine as well as drinking hot tea and gargaling salt water. My tonsils still haven’t changed. They are still big to the point where my uvula is sliding against them.
What should I do? And I’ve been trying to look up to see what kind of Tonsillitis I have, but can’t really seem to find an answer since my symptoms are not really severe as most others.

In many people a flu is accompanied with throat infection. By gargling salt water just once a day would give you only a temporary relief. You should gargle with warm salt water at least thrice a day. Each time you feel thirsty, you should drink only hot or warm liquids. Its not just having a cup of hot tea once or twice a day. Placing hot water bags on your chest would relieve chest congestion. Apply a cold balm or vicks on your chest, back, throat and nose. Hope these tips helps.

Question by Faith: Is It Ok For My 7 Month Old To Sleep With A Pillow?
A few weeks ago one of the throw pillows fell off our couch.
My 7 month old son crawled over and plopped down on it
Before my boyfriend could pick it up.
We decided he could play with it because everyone was
In the living room with him at the time.
But within minutes he was laying across it… Snoring. (Cute)
Well since that day he pull the pillows off the couch,
Then lays down to nap on them when he gets sleepy.
That’s no problem for us when someone can
Keep an eye on him.
The problem is that he hasn’t wanted to
Go to bed without a pillow.
So we put one in his crib,
Then when he falls asleep we take it,
But sometimes he wakes up…
He does not want to sleep without laying across a pillow.
Is this ok for a 7 month old baby?
If not is there and way I can improvise for him?
Any Useful Tips Would Be Appreciated.
?Faith
