Question by Gina B: Any home cures for a Peke with a respiratory problem until I can get him to the vet?
He is sneezing, snorting and snoring much more than normal when he takes his frequent naps. Earlier he went through this grunting/choking time but seems ok now he is sleeping…
He is sneezing and sniffling alot – a bit ago he had a spell of snorting/grunting but is sleeping now but snoring much more than normal. He had to stay at a kennel for 3 nights but had his kennel cough shot the day he went – could he still get sick – I just want to get him some relief tonight until he can go to the vet tomorrow.. thanks

Question by terry_wrist: Snoring when sleeping problem?
Is there any way to stop snoring when I am sleeping? I need more like a tips, solutions or anything except for suggesting me do the surgery. I know the surgery can solve the problem but I’m searching for more lighter solutions…tips would be perfect!

Two ways at the drug store! Either those nose strips that go over the bridge of your nose. (Breathe Right)
Or, Snore-Stop.
Both work real well. Ask the pharmacist if you have any questions. They’re really smart and helpful.
Good luck! :)

Wearing a nose strip will eliminate snoring. A healthy diet, the elimination of unhealthy food, and other things that cause sinus irritation and inflammation will eventually rid you of snoring long term.
