www.deluxecomfort.com Is there anything worse than trying to sleep when you partner is noisily snoring? You try to ignore them, willing yourself to drift into sleep, but that rumbling noise is becoming more and more distinct. As you cringe, burying your face in your pillow, he gets louder still. Finally, agitated, you shake him and demand that he stop snoring. The problem is that he can’t just stop. Snoring is an involuntary bodily function. The good news is that many people have found relief through snoring pillows. To understand how snoring pillows work, you first need to understand that when a person is snoring or suffering from sleep apnea, they are actually experiencing periods of time where their breathing is suspended in excess of ten second intervals. This means when you hear your partner snort or wheeze, he is actually struggling for a breath. How do snoring pillows work? First developed by doctors as therapeutic aids, these pillows were designed to address the problems of snoring. Doctors know that snorers need their heads and necks properly cradled and elevated, so these pillows actually contain elevated foam panels for proper body positioning. These pillows are designed to gently and easily position the sleeper’s head to the side. This lowers the chances of the sleeper’s airway being obstructed. This reduces the chance of snoring due to easier breathing. Although snoring pillows don’t work for everyone, many people have benefited from this simple bedding …
The sound of snoring occurs when breathing is obstructed. This is due to a narrowing of the passages at the back of the mouth and nose. During sleep, muscle tone decreases throughout the body. When the throat muscles relax, the soft palate and uvula vibrates as you breathe. Lear more about why we are snoring at this new video. Video Rating: 4 / 5
Me and mine have this problem. Any suggested remedies?
I’m not “fat”, but do have respiratory issues. He also has breathing problems.
For a long while I could just let him fall asleep first and fall asleep myself regardless, but it is recently becoming a problem.
I only snore when it is cold outside and I wake up all congested as if I have a cold the entire time during autumn and winter. When I wake up, my mouth tastes like it is full of mucus (I know… very disgusting). I have tried some other decongestants (store brands and Tylenol) but I have not tried Sudafed because I am fearful that it could be habit forming. I have tried breathe right strips and their throat sprays but those do not work at all. I believe my snoring is caused by my being congested during these times but I am no expert. Once I am awake and start moving around for the day, my congestion leaves me completely until during the night while I’m sleeping.
I would love to find a remedy because I miss sleeping next to my wife. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ok, how about someone who isn’t trying to sell me something answer?
Or better yet, other than the three idiots who have already answered, the first person to say Sudafed works with nasal congestion will get the points.
As for the other products/answers… your products DON’T DO ANYTHING for nasal congestion so not only do you deserve to not get any points, you deserve to get slapped.
