Question by Hammyxx: I can’t sleep when my brother snores! Any solutions?
I have to share a room with my brother when we go on holiday and he snores (when he isn’t snoring he is breathing very loudly which is also annoying). It spoils the holiday because i am always tired from lack of sleep. Please help!

Answer by Metal Nettle Well, if you don’t need silence, you could try going to sleep with your headphones on and a CD playing (so it stops after an hour or so), I have yet to strangle myself in the night, and usually once I am asleep, it doesn’t wake me up.
Failing that, go to the chemist and get some earplugs. They are not perfect and I find I lay there focusing very hard on being able to hear just to confirm to myself that I can, lol, but they are a help.
