Last night I was changing my daughters diaper, I went back to bed and as I rested my headon the pillow, I heard something say clearly “get out”. I got spooked but then thought it was my husband’s snoring that made it sound like someone said ” get out” what does anyone think?

LOL. I love my hubby, including his childing sleeping. But only thing that keeps me awake is snoring. LOL. I love to sleep hugging him in to his arms and over him. He cuddles me in his sleep also that I dont want to miss. But now a days he has started snoring a little that bothers me a little. What is the solution?

Wake him up and tell him he is snoring. Then go to sleep before he starts again. Or sleep on the couch..

The guys said, “Man, what happened to you?” He said, “Bud snored so loudly, I
just sat there and couldn’t sleep all night.”

The next night it was Jim’s turn. In the morning, same thing, hair all
standing up, eyes all bloodshot. They said, “Man, what happened to you?You look awful!” He said, “I’ll tell you, that Bud shakes the roof with his snoring. I couldn’t sleep all night.”

The third night was Lee’s turn. Lee was a tanned, older cowboy… a man’s
man. The next morning he came to breakfast bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. “Good morning!” he said. They couldn’t believe
it. They said, “Man, what happened?” He said, “Well, we got ready for bed. I went and tucked Bud into bed, patted him on the butt, and kissed him good night. Bud sat up and stayed awake all night.”

Is the use of semicolons in this sentence correct?

He looked over at Jay; who was still fast asleep; snoring quietly; his nose pressed up against his pillow.

Its just that if I try to replace any with a comma the sentence doesn’t seem to flow right.

I don’t know if anyone would be able to help me with this, but figured its worth a shot. About 5 years ago my mom went septic and ended up on life support for 2 weeks and lost both of her legs, since then she has been very weak and stays in bed except for her monthly doc visits. She also used to be an acholic and still smokes about a pack and a half a day, just in case that helps. About 4 months ago she developed pain in her throat and it has continued just getting worse since. She downs bottles and anti-acids and for the past month or so been unable to eat hard foods she pretty much can only swallow liquds and soggy pasta, even that sometimes seems to get stuck. She tells me she just swallowd something large awhile ago and scrapeed it, i think she doesn’t want to scare me yet I am very aware of what is going on. She did tell my father that she feels like there is a lump inside her thorat and that it has gotten bigger, but she refuses to go see a doctor or tell the doc’s about the problem and lies about it anytime it is brought up. For the past few weeks she has developed drenching sweats, nothing I’ve ever seen before, with no fever, she snores much more loudly then she used to, she also seems much weaker and sleeping more, she occasionaly coughs and probably every other day gets really bad hiccups and has been very depressed. She is worried about cancer and I think thats what keeps her from seeing a doctor about it. Right now there is no way of convincing her to get it checked and for me not knowing what is going on is killing me. I have looked up the symptoms and everything seems to say cancer but I know these websites always give you the worst case scenario. I know it sounds horrible its just miserable watching her suffer and she is in so much pain that I almost feel she’s giving up. Any Ideas?? I am 20 and ready to hear any answer, just want some ideas at what I am looking at.. I just have a gut instinct that something is going to happen soon so maybe somebody has seen these symtoms before.
Her throat does seem swollen but she won’t let anyone look inside. We have tried every means of getting her to see someone she just won’t and if you push it to much she’ll start acting like nothing is wrong yet you can see very obviously there is. Also she has had an increase in bone pains if that means anything??

Is there a visible lump on her throat? Your Mom should have it checked out by an Ear, Nose & Throat Doctor ASAP. It may or may not be something to be concerned with, but it should be looked at by a doctor. I was diagnosed w/ stage 4 cancer of the hypo pharynx. (it was where the esophagus meets the throat). I’m no Doctor, but I am a survivor! GET HER TO A DOCTOR TOMORROW!
