Question by Josh: I’m playing the sims 3 and the wife of one of my families keeps waking up right away when she lays down. help?
I’m sure it’s because the husband is snoring, but i can’t do anything about it, and if thats the case, she will never be able to sleep in the same room as him ever again!
Might be a bug.
I googled it and there are no answers, or solutions.
HELP!

Wear her out big time. Make her go swimming and work out or something before bed. She should tire and then be able to sleep, now if it keeps happening then your pretty much screwed because I know I wouldn’t even know what to do after that.

Question by bearklektor: How can I stop my husband from snoring with waking him?
I’ve tried tapping him- but it wakes him- and the snoring only stops temporarily. I’ve tried pinching his nose, kicking his foot, tickling him. The snoring doesn’t wake me out of my sleep, but if I’m not asleep yet it keeps me up.
I do snore- but I wake myself up when I snore(my own snoring noise wakes me before it wakes him.) I’ve learned to adjust my pillow so that my airway is more open- then I do not snore-
He usually starts out on his stomach but when he rolls to his back that is when the problem starts.

i usually try to shift over myself and that usually gets him to roll over. don’t let him sleep on his back, that’s when it’s worst. you could also try some “breath right” strips, they might work.

Go to the dr. Have a sleep study done.
You probably have sleep apnea. It’s easy to treat.
If you don’t do anything about it, it’s going to damage your heart.
A sleep study is something that your doctor will order if he thinks you might have sleep apnea, which is a disorder that causes you to stop breathing while you’re sleeping. You will spend the night at the facility in which they do the sleep study. They’ll hook you up to all sorts of monitors (on your head/chest) and will probably videotape it. It’ll record how many times you stop breathing and for how long.
To fix this problem (if it’s what you have), they’ll give you a mask and a machine that helps to force air into your lungs. It’s awkward at first, but you’ll get used to it and even like it (my husband often sits in bed with the mask on while watching TV).
Other things that might help: Often, people with this problem are overweight. If you lose some weight, often it’ll go away.
