Stop Snoring Remedies

Earplugs. That, and turn the thermostat down a bit. I’ve noticed that my dogs don’t snore when they are curled up in the “normal sleeping dog” position (sorry, don’t know what else to call it but when sprawled out they snore like crazy. So, during the summer, when it’s hot — they snore. During the winter, they don’t.

I’d never considered that… I bet it could have been used to scare off predators while you’re sleeping and defenseless. Some people do sound like large animals when they snore.
On the flip side if you’re snoring predators could easily find you and you won’t hear them coming over your own snoring. Maybe we learned how to defend our sleeping selves before predators figured out how to tell a bear from a sleeping human. We do seem to sleep more deeply than many animals; maybe we can do this because of snoring?
Or could be it’s an unfortunate side-effect of walking upright that we have to find creative ways to deal with, like back pain and dying in childbirth. I guess the benefits just outweighed the downsides, evolutionarily speaking.

He’s going at it pretty good. He seemed to start this about a week ago.LOL

nasial strips from a pharmacy

I snore a lot (and loud!) and my new gf can not take it.
What are my options for stopping this? Do the breathe right strips work?
I do NOT want to wear one of the mask things because that is just too creepy! lol
